Hi,
My SfB mediation server isn’t collocated with SfB standard edition server. I need to make an outbound call with a very long Request URI from SfB client to IP-PBX over SIP trunk. I need to see how the IP-PBX handles this case.
I configured a SIP trunk in SfB topology with a long FQDN (LyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunk.pbx.sec) in order the INVITE to have a very long URI.
This FQDN is resolvable.
Mediation server doesn’t propagate this INVITE to IP-PBX and at event viewer I see a 25075 eventID:
Mediation Server encountered an invalid setting that has been ignored.
Setting: PSTNGatewayService Fqdn: LyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunk.pbx.sec;trunk=LyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunk.pbx.sec
Reason: [Config] A Gateway Peer's (LyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunkLyncSIPTrunk.pbx.sec) internal settings are not configured correctly: NextHopPort = 5060, TransportType = TCP, NextHopIpAddress = N/A
Cause: Settings configured incorrectly.
Resolution:
Reconfigure the specified setting.
Does anybody know why this is happening? Is there any other way to send a very long URI?
Thanks.
